From polymer clay to the water — this video covers the full build of an inline spinner fishing lure and ends with a real catch using one I made in this session.

Improvised Violin Melody – July 2018
In July 2018 I recorded a short improvised violin melody. I wanted to share it as part of my ongoing collection of videos.
Sometimes the most meaningful music comes from unplanned moments. This is one of those times — a quick sketch on violin that captured the mood of that summer day.
Field Road at Dusk – Original Acoustic Instrumental
Original Instrumental by Nathaniel Maloney
Field Road at Dusk is a reflection of the calm that settles over country tracks as daylight fades. Composed in Geauga County, Ohio, it blends fingerstyle acoustic guitar, manditar, and cello into a serene rustic melody, shaped by fields, woodlands, and the stillness of dusk.

Catch and Create: Catching and Woodburning a Smallmouth Bass
I combined fishing and crafting in this project. First I caught a smallmouth bass, then I brought that moment to life through pyrography woodburning on basswood. The finished piece was turned into a handmade fridge magnet.
It’s a mix of the outdoors and creating something lasting. A fish from the water, burned into wood, and shaped into a small piece of art.

Ukulele in My Camper During a Rainstorm
I was sitting in my tiny camper while the rainstorm passed through and picked up my ukulele. Nothing planned, nothing polished—just me strumming while the rain came down. A small moment of music with the storm as the backdrop.

Indigo Bunting Painting Timelapse – Acrylic & Pyrography on Tree Slice
Watch as an indigo bunting is brought to life on a natural tree slice. The bird is meticulously painted with acrylics, while the branch it rests on is rendered through pyrography—blending vibrant color with warm, wood-burned texture.
This timelapse captures the entire creative process, from the first brushstroke to the final burned detail.

The Distance of Memory
The Distance of Memory is a solo fingerstyle performance on my 5-string banjo, played without picks. This instrumental drifts between melody and memory, carrying the feeling of distance and time passed. It reflects innocence and the faded echoes of moments long gone, expressed through the rustic voice of the banjo.
Every note is shaped by hand — simple, direct, and personal. This piece is both a remembrance and a reflection, a melody that lingers like a memory carried forward.
